The Paintings and Prints of Leslie Moffat Ward
Bournemouth-based painter and printmaker Leslie Moffat Ward (1888-1978) was a pivotal and influential figure in the dynamic Dorset art scene of the 1920s-1970s. He also regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy and was an elected member of the Royal Society of Painter Etchers.
This display of works from the Russell-Cotes collection will showcase images of Dorset’s bygone landscapes, many not seen in public since shortly before Ward’s death.
Please be aware that this display is in our Print Room on the upstairs floor of the Historic House, which is not accessible for wheelchair users. Please see further information on accessibility here.
