School Holiday Activities – Get creative and get inspired at the Russell-Cotes!
Each School Holiday the Learning Team run a variety of creative and craft sessions.
This summer there’s so much on offer at the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum. From 26 July to 31 August they are running creative sessions including; T-shirt, canvas and porcelain painting. Workshops, taught by a professional artist, inspired by their puppet and mask exhibition and drop-in craft days. In the Victorian house follow trails, enter competitions and dress up as Victorians.

Early Explorers: Storytelling, songs and crafts for 2 – 5 year olds
Looking for something to do with your toddler? Early Explorers is our monthly club for 2 – 5 year olds. Discover the Russell-Cotes’ collection, listen to stories, sing songs and have a-go at crafty things. Visit our What’s On page to find dates for upcoming Early Explorers and join in the fun!
Baby-changing facilities are available on the first floor, along with a small-sized toilet for younger children. Please see our Accessibility page for more information.

Help your little one explore the musuem with an Explorer Bag.
Suitable for 3-5 years and 5+ years.
Bags contain a variety of optical viewers to help children investigate the house and art collection. Explorer bags cost £1 to hire and are available from the garden reception.
Stop at the Learning Gallery on the way into the historic house and pick up a trail to complete in the house.
