Visitor Services Assistant vacancies
We are seeking to recruit dynamic, practical Visitor Services Assistants with excellent customer care skills to join the Front of House team at the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum.
Your role will be to ensure the day-to-day safe and smooth running of the gallery, including emergency evacuation response, as well as supervising staff, engaging with our visitors, monitoring museum security, and supporting the maintenance of the building.
We have 3 positions to fill. Two are 30 hours per week and one at 16 hours per week.
The salary is £17,772 (pro rata for part time).

Open Call for Commission: Proposed photography exhibition in our Café Gallery, to be displayed from 8 August – 17 September 2017.
Provisionally titled ‘Bournemouth LGBT+ in 2017’.
The Russell-Cotes is inviting photographers to apply for a commission to produce a series of photographs which represent LGBT+ Bournemouth in 2017.
A series of 10-15 images will be displayed in the Café Gallery, forming part of the Russell-Cotes’ public programme of events and activities surrounding our main exhibition, Refracted: Collection Highlights.
