In light of the success of this year’s Bourne Free Festival, Russell-Cotes is pleased to announce the partnership it has developed with the organisation.
Sunday evening saw Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum host the first of its events with Bourne Free: an evening of jazz music and entertainment. Russell-Cotes also contributed to the weekend by running a stall in the Lower Gardens where festival-goers could find out more about weddings and venue hire at the art gallery and museum.
The partnership aims to unite and show support to Bournemouth’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Bourne Free, which is now in its eleventh year, presents itself as “an annual celebration of all diversities that live in Bournemouth and constantly strives towards universal equality for all through entertainment and awareness”, something that Russell-Cotes is proud to back.
As the only wedding venue that enjoys a partnership with Bourne Free, Russell-Cotes hopes that members of the LGBT community consider its bespoke wedding service when planning such an occasion. By choosing the Russell-Cotes, couples will be married in a magnificent setting and could combine the ceremony with a reception, wedding breakfast or evening function. With a stunning collection of captivating artefacts, world-famous paintings and exquisite sculptures for guests to enjoy, the historic house offers a truly unique experience whilst overlooking the fantastic views of Bournemouth bay.
The partnership also ties in with the launch of the ‘Inclusive Options’ weddings packages that have been created by Russell-Cotes. These packages include not just the ceremony room hire, but also the reception room hire, evening function, music and, decoration of the function room and tables to the theme of your choice. The Deluxe option additionally includes a reception drink and canapés, 3-course wedding breakfast and evening buffet.
Sarah Newman , Programmes Officer at Russell-Cotes says: “We are pleased to be working in partnership with Bourne Free to promote our beautiful house and galleries with our first fully inclusive wedding packages”.
