The Bells is a play in three acts by Leopold David Lewis which was one of the greatest successes of Henry Irving. The play opened at the Lyceum Theatre in London and initially ran for 151 performances. Irving staged the play repeatedly throughout his career, playing the role for the last time the night before his death in 1905.
A Story of Waterloo is a play by Arthur Conan Doyle. It premiered in Bristol in 1894, and toured until 1905, starring Henry Irving as Corporal Gregory Brewster.
