We don’t know much about this image or who the artist was, but it is very similar to a cartoon of Henry Irving with Harry Hart, a music hall manager, from 1884. In this other cartoon, Irving and Hart, nicknamed the ‘Happy Hebrew’, are shown commenting on how the International Health Exhibition in South Kensington is taking away their audiences.
