Casket
This ebony casket is inlaid with ivory panels and engraved with classical subjects. It was used by Ellen Terry when she played Portia in the Lyceum production of The Merchant of Venice. The play also starred Sir Henry Irving as Shylock and ran for 250 nights in 1879.
