Cattle by the Water’s Edge

William Hulk was the son of the artist Abraham Hulk, whose painting is hung to the left of this work. William specialised in small scale rural scenes depicting cattle and sheep. Based in Surrey, he used the surrounding landscape for the backdrop to his work.
