This silver cigar case is engraved ‘To Sir Henry Irving from A. Melville Low, 6th Feb, 1902.’ It was purchased by Merton Russell-Cotes at the sale of Sir Henry Irving’s belongings at Christie’s, and it contains a clipping of the lot from the sale catalogue.
