This ink drawing by Sidney Paget shows the sale of Henry Irving’s property at Christies in December 1905. Produced for The Sphere newspaper, the scene shows items being shown to bidders. Also visible is the Archer portrait of Irving as King Charles I, which is on display at the Russell-Cotes on the stairs.
