Victorian Book Club – Possession

Join us at the Russell-Cotes for our Victorian Book Club, where we discuss books written or set during the Victorian period.
The Victorian Book Club takes place on the first Saturday of the month.
This month’s book is Possession, by AS Byatt, a 1990 bestseller that follows two modern academics as they uncover the lives of two Victorian poets.
This is a hosted session, where participants are encouraged to offer their thoughts and responses to the book.
Our Victorian Book Club sessions are free, but spaces are limited, so pre-booking is essential.

The session will take place in the Conservatory, unless it is too hot or too cold, in which case we will move into the Cafe. If you have any access requirements that mean you cannot access the space then we will move into the Cafe instead. There is lift access to the Cafe.

This ticket does not include admission to the historic house. If you want to visit the house you can book admission at the Welcome Desk on the day.

Our Victorian Book Club sessions are free, we just encourage you to buy a drink from the Cafe to help make the event sustainable. Food and drink are not normally permitted in the Conservatory, but we make exceptions for managed events like these.
