Come along and discover the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum for the 1922 admission price of just sixpence.
Whilst the original sixpence stopped being legal tender in 1980, visitors can bring along 6p in today’s money!
Entry on this day will be free, but we welcome any donation of 6p or more.
Open 10am-5pm.

Please be aware that due to high numbers of visitors we are unable to accept any group bookings of over 9 people.
It is likely to be a busy day, so please be aware that if the building is at full capacity you may be asked to wait outside until there is space inside the museum. Please dress for the weather. There may be a queue, but a friendly colleague will be managing the flow of visitors in and out of the building.
Large bags and all backpacks will need to be left in the lockers at the Welcome Desk. There is limited cloakroom space, so we recommend that you don’t bring large bags with you. If the cloakroom facilities are full you will need to wait until someone leaves in order to store your bag. Large bags and backpacks cannot be taken into the historic house.
If it is raining you will be asked to leave wet coats in the cloakroom, due to the impact on humidity in the historic house, which can be very damaging. This is a condition of entry. If you do not wish to leave your wet coat in the cloakroom, then please consider coming back on another occasion.
