Themed Tour: From Darkness into Light – Finding Hope in Art
In this tour, we reflect the themes of advent as we explore how artists have depicted hope and darkness, in their storytelling and the style of their works. Relax, enjoy and delve deeper into several of the most outstanding works of art in Gallery II.
We shall explore their deeper meaning and appreciate the artists’ journeys at times of personal hardships and against the backdrop of historical uncertainties.
We are seeking to ‘find hope’ by taking some time for ourselves to take in the beauty of the art works and by understanding the challenges that were faced and overcome by previous generations.
Come away feeling uplifted and enlightened.
