Our top priority is to protect you, our staff and our volunteers, so we’ve put comprehensive social distancing and cleaning measures in place.
We’ve introduced a range of measures to help adhere to social distancing guidelines and hygiene standards.
We have installed a one-way system and also reduced our visitor number capacity, to ensure we can manage social distancing and maintain public safety. Initially we will be open on a reduced number of days.
These changes will make your visit slightly different from what you’re used to, however, the staff team are working hard to ensure that your visit the Russell-Cotes is still as rich, rewarding and enjoyable as ever.
To visit the museum, please pre-book a ticket via our website*. We are also operating a separate entrance and exit, and throughout your visit there will be a one-way route in place.
Members of the public are required to wear a face covering when visiting the museum. Government guidance on the wearing of face coverings can be found here.
In line with government advice, if you’re visiting with others they must be from your household or support bubble. More information on local restrictions can be found here.
The Russell-Cotes is a charity and relies on admission ticket sales for much of its income, so we would like to thank you for your continued support at this unprecedented time.
Please read through the ‘How to book and what to expect’ section of our website for the full details of our reopening, including opening times, facilities, and visitor experience.
*As ticket numbers are limited, we encourage you to pre-book to avoid disappointment. If you arrive without a booking, we may be able to accommodate you, however, admittance will depend on the number of visitors already in the museum.
