The Yellow Room was originally Annie Russell-Cotes’ bedroom. Unfortunately, we have no original plans or photographs of the bedroom and its furniture.
This room is now used to display the personal effects of the Russell-Cotes family which were bequeathed to us in 1996 by Phyllis Lee-Duncan, granddaughter of Annie and Merton. The room also contains a number of objects collected by them from their extensive travels around the world.
Due to our current re-interpretation and re-display project, this room may be closed or have slightly different contents. If you have any questions prior to your visit, please don’t hesitate to call us on 01202 451858.
